Inlays & Onlays

Tooth coloured  fillings are excellent for repairing small and decayed areas of teeth. However, they may not  be strong  enough for bigger cavities with the  back teeth. If you  have a large cavity in the  back tooth, we might  suggest a  porcelain inlay or onlay. The porcelain used is  strong and is  made to exactly  fit the cavity.Inlays are slightly smaller than onlays and are made to fit cavities that only affect the middle part of the chewing surface of back teeth. Onlays are slightly  larger and they repair the central part of the chewing surface and also one or more  cusps of teeth.
